After Jacob offered sacrifice to God he was promised to be great in the land of Egypt. 

Joseph finally saw his father and they all rejoiced and he gave them guide on how to speak to king Pharaoh.

Summary of Genesis 39

God blessed the business of Potiphar because Joseph was in charge of it. Potiphar's wife lusted after Joseph and demanded to lie with him but he refused and this led to her making up a false accusation against Joseph. Joseph was later sent to prison but he excelled there because God was with him. Questions 1. Why did Joseph not take advantage of the opportunity to lie with her? 2.
